Our website allows you to view samples of our previous work and see possible design options
The examples are currently scanned printouts
We will shortly be having full colour photographs of actual badges shown
The Ordering Process (for new customers)
The first stage in any order of customised name badges (where your logo appears on the badge) is usually to send us a good copy of your logo
If you are doing this by post you should send us your letterhead, compliment slip or brochure
If it’s on your PC then a copy on floppy disc or CDR is the preferred method
Alternatively email your logo to us as an attachment
Include in your email or letter your contact details plus....
If you have any specific requests regarding the sample design, e.g. typefaces or backgrounds, please mention this in your email, otherwise we will provide you with the most appropriate selection of design options for your logo and company sector
The Approval Process
We will produce samples for you to view either via our website, email or through the post
Upon receipt choose one and let us know
If you require any alterations they can be done at any time
Ordering
Once you have selected your final design, ordering badges is a simple formality
We need two things
a) a clearly typed list of names, titles etc. and
b) payment. Accounts automatically available for government departments. , nursing homes and incorporated limited companies
All others payment with order please
Lists can be supplied via post or email
Payment may be made by Mastercard, Visa or Switch Debit and Credit Cards
Cheques and postal orders (payable to Mr. M. Small) will also be accepted through the post
Design Elements
Although “plain old white” is the most popular option we can supply a range of alternative colours
Elements commonly found on name badges include company logos, names and titles
As Mauritron Badges are composed digitally, any element can be scaled, moved or aligned in any number of ways
The samples shown on our website demonstrate a small range of the vast variety we have available
Each design will vary, depending on the logo and the other details required
Upon receiving your logo we will produce a range of samples usually based around the most appropriate layout for that size & shape of logo, varying the colour and alignment of the other elements within the badge
Typefaces can have an incredible effect on the look of a badge and a corporate image
While some typefaces project in image of professionalism and efficiency, others can
suggest an air of up-
The range we have displayed on this website is only some of the more popular styles from a range of several thousand at our disposal
If there is a particular style or image you are looking to project let us know, there will almost certainly be a typeface which will do the job better than most
Typefaces may be mixed on each badge, in terms of style, weight, size and case
However after all is said and done, the most popular and eyecatching is standard Black text on White Background in Standard or Verdana typestyle. Centred if no Logo, or offset if you want a Logo added.
